The results from the 2012 Spring Executive Committee Elections are in. The final results (except for Parliamentarian) are as followed:

Commissioner

Kyle Streng (B – Live Wire)

Parliamentarian RUN-OFF

According to the SSL Constitution (Section 4), “…should no candidate obtain the majority of the votes cast, a run-off vote will be taken between the two candidates who obtain the largest number of votes.” The run-off election will be on May 20, 2012 at Woodlawn (C/D-Divisions) and Greco (B-Division). The run-off will only between Sabrina Hinkley (D – Dog Pound) and Matthew Williams (D – Impact).

League Night with the Rays

The Public Relations Committee will be hosting a League night out with the Rays on Friday June 1st, 2012 at Tropicana Field in St. Pete.  Gather up your fellow team members, family, and friends to join the SSL as we watch the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles!  Attached you will find the flyer's for this event which is open to League members, family, and friends of League members.  Tickets are $20 ($29 Value) per person for Lower Level Baseline Box Tickets and the SSL will get a scrolling scoreboard welcome message!  If you or anyone on your team is interested in attending please see any member of the Public Relations Committee or the Executive Council.  We will be collecting at both the New Tampa and Greco complexes this Sunday as well as Woodlawn next Sunday.  CASH only, all money is due by the last pitch of the 5/20 games at Woodlawn.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Executive Council is a group of elected members whose purpose is to work together to help ensure that the league runs smoothly.  These officers work on behalf of all league members.  If you ever need any assistance these are the people to see. They will work with you to answer any questions you may have or they will direct you to the proper person for help.
