The Suncoast Softball League was organized in 1994 to promote a friendly, competitive and emotionally safe environment for gay men and women in the Tampa Bay area to participate in the sport of softball. Our goal as a league is to promote sportspersonship, tolerance and acceptance of GLBT persons as well as those in our community who are friendly and supportive of our ideals.

Visit the Standings page for complete results... See you in September for the Fall 2009 Season!!! MR. & MISS SSL SOFTBALL PAGEANT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!! On Saturday, May 9, the Suncoast Softball League held its annual Miss SSL Charity Fund Raiser at Alibi in St. Pete. All money raised will be donated 100% to local charities. The Winner in the "Miss" Category was Eric from Wranglers and in the "Mr" category it was Chris from the Rays. Other contestants that competed were Patrick from the Starlets(with back up performers), Joe from Ice and "Papa Bear" Lee from the Inferno. We also had special appearances by Jason "Champagne De Merlot" from Wranglers, and Billy "Miss Barbie Q" from the Brigade. "Ivanna Bttm", "Alexis De la mar", "Coma" and "Phoenix Taylor" stopped by to entertain and perform giving us a total of 11 performers. (THANK YOU EVERYONE). Lots of prizes were raffled. A special thanks to Gerre Reynolds, Jerry Travis, Visit Tampa Bay.com , Florida Aquarium, Century 21, City Side, Spurs and George's Alibi for donating to the event. There were lots of people working behind the scenes: Allen From Ice was the Emcee, with AJ and DJ selling raffle tickets, Ron and Andrew working the table and Scott the floor. Thanks to all and we'll see you again next year!!!
